I Left My Heart In San Francisco

There is a song by Tony Bennett called
“ I Left My Heart In San Francisco”,
in the song he sings:

“High on a hill, it calls to me
To be where little cable cars climb halfway to the stars
The morning fog may chill the air, I don’t care

My love waits there in San Francisco
Above the blue and windy sea
When I come home to you, San Francisco
Your golden sun will shine for me”

San Francisco is not my hometown, but it’s the best loved city
in my heart, for its blue and windy sea, for its golden sun,
for its scenic streets and beautiful windows, for its dreamy
bridges with white yachts sailing by.
Whenever we have chance(means no kids classes,
light hearted, or friends visiting, or just for a beautiful day),
we will head to San Francisco, our favorite city, before,
its only us two, then we three, now we four,
or six with grandparents.

Lombard street is a must drive each time, we visit there all the seasons, shine or rain.

Coit Tower, not first time, we love to be lifted high to see all the bridges in the sea.

(This is a picture with the tower in the moonlight)

Another must must stop is The Art Palace, rain or shine.

Today is such a nice day, so many photographers and young couple( to be ).

They may not agree they are among the luckiest!

Today, after all these and a yummy lunch, we headed to
another spot newly found(read from Mercury News),
the Mosaic Stairway, quietly stands in Sunset district.

They all fell asleep on the way there, we woke them up to climb
the stairs, the girl refused her steps, at least the boy is in the
picture with his happy face. Don’t miss it, next time when you visit the city.

Hard to say goodbye...
This is way not the end, on Sunday, the Men’s Team went to another Chess Tournament and came back with a purple trophy. We girl’s team went to a mini-golf birthday party for Bo’s daughter.
Early night two other girls visited us, actually visited the chickens in our backyard. Now they are begging for their pets, Sherry, sorry, off work headache for you.
Finally someone closing her eyes, someone reading quietly on bed, someone calculating last month’s expenses, I feel so lucky, I can look up my pictures and type in my memories.

How is your weekend?
Happy journey back to reality, happy Miss Monday!
